Originally launched by Rickman in 1991, it is probably fair to say the car has never reached its originally potential. Sold on in 1995 to an enthusiastic new owner, Terry Coles, the car has subsequently once again failed to deliver volume sales and, despite a styling revamp in the late Nineties, the project is now run alongside Terry's other businesses.

Rickman Metisse. Chassis Extremely sturdy galvanised steel chassis constructed from large box section with integral roll-over cage.

Running gear Entire mechanical package from Ford Sierra/Scorpio 2.9 litre V6 (if offer with twin turbo conversion), MT75 gearbox, 4x4, LSD. New components - Spax springs, Monroe Sensatrac dampers, track control arms, Ferodo brake pads, Black Diamond grooved/cross-drilled discs (front and rear), stainless BF Goodridge brake hoses, some Supaflex bushes, power assisted steering rack, 17" alloy wheels and tyres, fuel tank, standard V6 exhaust system,wheel bearings.

Bodywork Heavily laid-up GRP (fibre-glass) main bodytub with removable front and rear bumpers, front panels. Bonnet modified for air intake, main tub modified for aircraft style fuel filler cap. Doors are from Sierra 3-door model and are in excellent condition. Electric windows, Electric mirrors.

Interior Late model Sierra dashboard, Sierra door panels, Metisse GRP panels to line the complete interior, including a parcel shelf for the large boot area.
