MIRAGE

Founded by Phil Cheetham, an avid Countach enthusiast whose goal was to engineer an accurate replica worthy of the original car, Mirage have been producing recreations of the ultimate Italian supercar since 1988, and in this time some 400 customers world-wide have realised their dream cars. The incredible lines of the Lamborghini Countach, one of the most enduring shapes of all time, have been accurately reproduced in our replica right down to the last detail. A carefully constructed Mirage is externally indistinguishable from the original.

The basis of this replica is an incredibly strong triangulated space-frame chassis designed to provide the ultimate in performance and safety.

Suspension is to Mirage's own design and incorporates unequal length tubular wishbones with coil over dampers front and rear along with disc brakes all round.

The body shell and panels are constructed from hand laid GRP; aluminium panels (giving a better finish and reducing overall vehicle weight) are also available as an extra option.

Exhilarating performance definitely in the supercar league can be provided by a range of power plants from Ford and Renault V6s, the popular Rover V8 and even the mighty Chevrolet 350 V8 (capable of up to 500bhp)

We have painstakingly refined and developed this replica into a complete component package that the kit-car enthusiast really can assemble into a dream car.

One piece doors with internal door bars ensure a perfect fit. A tailor made wiring loom, radiators and fuel tanks have been designed for ease of installation.

Every single part needed to recreate this Italian supercar can be provided through Mirage Replicas (see price list). Alternatively, many components can be sourced from scrapyards and autoparts centres by the resourceful enthusiast.
