Ford Scorpio/Granada mk3 Club EE has been established as a non-profit organization in November 2002. At the time of creation it was and now it still is the only one automobile club dedicated to Ford Scorpio/Granada mk3 vehicles in Estonia.

FORD GRANADA.

OHC 1800-2000 "Pinto". The cheapest and less powerful engine available. Scorpio with 2.0i goes dynamically enough, though. With carburettor, the car is OK for city driving, but a bit slower for highway operation.
The engines were supplied till late 80s. 1.8 with 2E Pierburg Carburettor.
2.0 (approx. 1990) EFI ЕЕС IV (Bosh L-Jetronic with Ford controller): Earliest versions had no catalyst converter and lambda-probe.
Carburettor versions (Weber) featured electronic control for cold start-up and ignition.

DOHC 2000. Modern engine, powerful enough, quiet, surprisingly economic and long-lived. Requires service and care. Fuel systems: Weber TLDM carburettor (as on Escort) or ЕЕС IV. Had been available since 1989 to the end of production.

V6 2.8 Gologne . Cologne V6 (2.8i) is created in 1972-m from ancient V4 (was putted on Cortina, Zephyr/Zodiac, Taunus 17М, and also SAAB) by supplement of two cylinders and expelling of balance arbors.

V6 2.4-2.9. The engines were available from 1987 to the end (2.4 ended in 1995). The engine represents an advanced 2.8 with modified heads and circuit in GDD instead of a cone. Some early 2.9 and all 2.9 after 1990 were equipped with hydraulic lifters. The early versions injection had flow meters and lambda-probe. The 2.4 engines have no special advantages but consumption. They were derived from the Cologne V6 in 1986.

2.9 Cosworth. With 24 valves and DOHC configuration, renowned Cosworth Company designed this engine. The output is 195 PS. The engine runs very well, the performance is quite good, but alas, you have to hope nothing will go wrong with the machine. It is better not to think about it...

2.5 Турбодизель. The most of all of problems on these cars wich one happens - it's a propellant system. And it's not incidentally. You see the opened stress of nozzles is a 260-280 bar presents heightened requests to HPFP (High-pressure fuel pump).
